Hi, We are Logan & Cooper

Wife & husband duo, formally trained as a wildlife biologist & engineer, united by a love of everything outdoors & the simple joy of learning a new craft. Native New-Englanders, we moved west to the North Cascades of Washington state to seek more outdoor access & adventure.

Flight Feather Craft & Farm was born out of a mission to find meaning & gratification through working with our hands. Self-taught & always hungry to learn more, we love the process of weaving & the handwoven textile products. We aim to craft functional & thoughtful art that is quality & sustainable. Each of our unique skill sets come together to make the dream work.

After years of working as an avian biologist, our name ‘Flight Feather’ is a nod to Logan’s love of birds & the inspiration we both find in the natural world.

Flight Feathers—strong, highly adapted feathers found on bird’s wings & tail—create lift & enable flight. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, we focus on craftsmanship, balance, & materials that reflect the quiet intelligence of nature. Like flight feathers, our work aims to support lift & direction through a balance between form, function, and the environment.

Handwoven with Intention

Artisan

We take pride in working with our hands and enjoy the endless progress toward mastering a craft. Craftsmanship describes more than how the work is done, but why it is done a certain way. The nature of our work is slow and methodical -- we figure, if it's worth doing, take your time. The result? Something truly unique and intentional.

Quality

In a world run by instant gratification and consumerism, we are in search of something radically different. We value quality over quantity. Items cultivated with high-quality materials, ethically handmade, small-batch, thoughtful, functional, and beautiful.

Eco-minded

Nature has a way of creating the best and highest quality raw materials that synthetics can only hope to emulate. This is why we strive to use as many natural, sustainable, organic materials and practices as possible. Additionally, we have a responsibility to minimize our impact on the natural world. What's good for the environment, is good for us.
